Happy Birthday Susan..it is late but the wishes are genuine. Givers get is a great example of building those relationships.. I do try to give from the heart…..the year of the pandemic was beautiful in so many ways….I love seeing my customers happy and wanting to stop in. Recently our store hosted a food truck and provided music…a small way to give back to the community. It was a great success and they want more food trucks……and the food truck was free to me as a business owner….it was about creating community.

Yes, Givers do get and just simply it is ultimately better to give than receive.

We have practiced the rule of “Givers Get” in our small nutrition store. Using the six box program, I like to share with our customers that we allow them to choose the items they would like to be on sale with their 7th purchase. Most customers are shocked when they hear what their discount is on the 7th purchase.
Customers LOVE it! We give to the community with donations for coats for kids through our men in blue each Christmas, and give to an “anti-bullying” group in support of local schools. Each time we give, we see new faces in our store.

This is very interesting, this rule of reciprocity. I’ve always thought it is good to give to the community as a goodwill gesture. My parents always did something, and since I’ve taken over, I do a little more each year. The community supports me, and I’m happy to give back!
