This Episode: Down & Dirty Get It Done Planning Process
It’s the beginning of 2020 and now is the time most people start thinking about their planning for the new year, but it can be hard to find time for creating that BIG plan. That’s why I created the Down & Dirty Get It Done Planning Process.
You can get something down on paper and have a road map to follow. Just check out this episode of Real Retail TV to discover how!
Thank you so much, Bob! My big focus this year is on better time management so that I am not always putting out fires all day at work (AKA not always living in flex time). One way I am working towards that (just started this week) is scheduling my employees, not myself, to open the shop most mornings so I can work on planning and growing my business instead of immediately losing my morning brain strength to the daily minutia of shopkeeping. I am definitely one of those people that has a big idea to write some comprehensive, detailed plan, and then ends up abandoning it part way it because it gets too involved. This basic process will be one of the first things I work on in my new daily schedule. Thank you again!
You’re welcome Summer! Let me know how it goes!

YES! Don’t let perfection get in the way of progress. I worked with someone who wanted everything he/we did to be in the “perfection” category. It was AWFUL!
Hi Julie,
Thanks for your comment!
Bob
Thank you so much for this RRTV episode. My business has changed so much in the past year. I can officially say that I have enough staff to run my store while I can focus on making my business great and better. This morning, I needed those words of encouragement. I will definitely do my planing. I’ll make it one of my priorities within the next few days.
Guylaine,
It’s time well spent. Thanks for your comment!
